Heritage Pub Trail

The best way to discover Dublin…

Discover Ireland’s heritage on your trail through the Best Bars in Dublin. Begin your journey at The Gin Palace, enjoy a gin tasting tray where their are over 100 gins to choose from.

After you have indulged on Ireland’s finest gin take the Abbey Street exit and continue on to the Grand Central, a formal historical bank now serving the finest cocktails. Did you know… The 1st morse code was sent by Plunkett from the Grand Central during the 1916 Rising.

At your next stop, the Arlington Hotel you will find the spirit of Irish tradition captured through the live Irish Dancing Dinner & Show. Famous for it’s jigs and reals this lively show hits the stage 7 nights a week all year round and continues to excite audiences from every corner of the world with its energy, passion and what we like to call the “craic”.

After you have partaken in a hop, skip and a jump, cross the River Liffey and wind through the cobbled streets of Temple Bar, the back bone of Dublin City. Soak up true Ireland and enjoy traditional Irish music or as we would say ‘trad music’ at the Quay’s Bar. Chat to our friendly bar staff and perhaps learn some Irish while sipping on an Irish coffee.

Next stop is onto the multi award winning

Stag’s Head…

Dublin’s best preserved Victorian Bar. This was the first bar in Dublin to have electrical light! Filled with original Victorian mahogany this is a shrine of the Victorian era. Here you can taste a whiskey straight from it’s original cask.

Five minutes walk across South William Street and onto Harry Street you will find Bruxelles – a second home to many famous musicians in the 1960s – 1970s. Here you will find many Phill Lynott and Thin Lizzy memorabilia. With 3 three bars under one roof there is lots to explore.

Finish your trail by enjoying the best pint of Guinness in Dublin at Kehoes Pub. Served by Luke, our head barman. This is a home away from home. Formerly owned by John Kehoe, he has literally opened the doors of his house to the public. Everything in here is how it was 100 years ago.
